Mallery Ivy-Higgs, MA, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a focus on individual therapy and sports performance counseling for adolescents, athletes, and adults (ages 14-35). With over nine years of clinical experience and more than 30 years of coaching and mentoring, Mallery brings a unique perspective to her practice, combining her background as a former student-athlete, coach, and therapist. She earned her Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and her Master's in Community Counseling from Argosy University, Atlanta. Mallery is also a nationally certified counselor, and her passion for empowering others is evident in her work.

Having been inducted into four sports Halls of Fame, Mallery has extensive experience navigating the mental and emotional challenges faced by high-performing individuals. She understands the pressures, stress, anxiety, and performance issues that athletes encounter. As a former track athlete at UTK, Mallery empathizes with the challenges athletes face, from physical injuries to the mental strain of balancing life and competition. She has worked with many individuals, including former athletes, helping them break down barriers that hinder their success and well-being. Her therapeutic approach is based on a strong foundation of empathy, cultural inclusion, and personal growth.
